Good questions
How many times can I reuse a pouch?
Each pouch can be reused up to 50 times. Wash it in hot soapy water, rinse until the water runs clear and leave it upside down to dry. To sterilise, we recommend cold-water sterilising, such as Milton.
Can I freeze the pouches?
Yes. Let the food cool, then freeze filled pouches for up to 6 months. They keep in the fridge for up to 48 hours. Defrost overnight in the fridge or on your microwave's defrost setting.
How do I warm a pouch?
Take the cap off and microwave for about 20 seconds, then massage the pouch to spread the heat. Or stand it in a bowl of hot water. Always check the temperature before feeding.
From what age can I use it?
The Department of Health recommends introducing solid food at around six months. Always check with your doctor before starting solids. After that, the kit is just as handy for toddlers, lunchboxes and grown-ups.
Can it be cleaned in the dishwasher?
Yes, the pouch filler can go in the dishwasher on the top rack. Please don't sterilise the jug and plunger; the silicone cap and jug cap can be steam or microwave sterilised.
Are the pouches safe?
The whole range is BPA-free, PVC-free, lead-free and phthalate-free, tested to UK food safety standards and made in British factories.
